Visit Grace City

We gather for worship every Sunday morning at 10AM in the Saltbox Church building, located 3233 Burnt Mill Drive, Suite 1, Wilmington, NC.

What to expect

We have two simple goals for our worship gatherings: to make much of Jesus above all else and to share His love with those who visit.  We don’t put on a big show, and we don’t have it all together. We are simply a gospel-centered church made up of sinners who have been saved by the grace of God in Christ.  Because of this, each time we come together we make every effort to remember how the work of Jesus Christ in His life, death, and resurrection matters for everyday life.  We believe God uses this gospel to change us, making us more like our Savior. He is the center of our gathering.

In light of this, each Sunday when we gather there are a few things that will happen.  You’ll be greeted by people who genuinely care about you and are glad you decided to spend a part of your Sunday morning with us.

We’ll then raise our voices and sing of the glories of Jesus, we’ll read Scripture, and we’ll listen to an expositional sermon from God’s word.  There will be prayer, and we’ll receive the Lord’s Supper on specific Sundays.

Visiting with children

We offer childcare for preschool aged children (ages 0-5) and elementary aged children (ages 6-11). All children should be checked in on arrival and go with their parents/guardians into the auditorium for worship-in-song. Dismissal to their classrooms will take place during a break mid-meeting. Older children will remain with their parents for the duration of the meeting.

For those families who will take advantage of childcare: Please plan on arriving 15 minutes before the start of the meeting so we can get your child checked-in.

Please give your child snacks or drinks before dismissal to their classes, and bring them to the restroom, if needed. We are unable to bring your child to the restroom or change his or her diaper. If needed, we will call you to their classroom to help with these things.

All policies and procedures listed in our GC Kids Policy Handbook will continue to be observed.
